In 2016, Felicia Briddy capitalized on her 20+ years of direct care, administrative and financial expertise by launching her own outpatient, substance abuse, and children and adolescent mental health facility. As a visionary leader, Felicia’s mission is to promote stability with clients in the community by providing continuity of care to aid in the reduction of inpatient hospitalization.

Aiming to turn Tender Touch Counseling Services into a nationally recognized facility of excellent patient care. For over a decade, Mrs. Briddy has tackled tough challenges and delivered superior, meaningful results in a high tempo, performance-based environment. As a well-established negotiator known for effectively managing difficult relationships to successfully end with mentally disabled individuals and professional staff and agencies.

A Message from the CEO.

Tender Touch Counseling Services is based on a legacy of care we have established our mental health counseling programs. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care through comprehensive and integrated mental health care throughout our community. We provide psychiatric care for adults, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient services, prevention programs, substance abuse and treatment recovery programs, children and adolescents programs, and care coordination with community-based support services.

Each of us has an ongoing responsibility to care for and nurture the well-being of our communities. Our vision is to become the leading behavioral health provider with the community by displaying the highest ethical standards to our clients through acceptance, respect, and compassion within all clinical outcomes.

As TTCS continues to bridge the gap within the mental health field, the State of Georgia continues to overhaul its mental health system by closing 2 out of 3 state mental health hospitals. Across the state, there are over 280,000 adults that battle severe mental health illness every day and without state services, which in turn gives organizations such as Tender Touch Counseling Services an advantage within the services provided as well as an influx of referrals from state and local mental health providers.

I will continue to use my voice for kindness, my ears for compassion, my hands for tenderness, and my heart for love. Happiness starts within the walls of my organization, onto my staff, then passes to my clients… If my staff are happy, my clients will be happy. we all are happy!
